Here the player is keeping track of the amount of health the boss has during the boss battle.

Mind Map is a solo project, so I contributed to all the game design and the majority of the art. I used tools like google documents to help bring this project together.

Throughout the game, players build their own mind with tiles while coming across memories that define their journey. Some memories are happy, and some memories are stressful, however their journey and how they build themselves with the "cope" they receive matters in the long run.

The target audience is 20 - 30 years old, so I made Mind Map relatable by adding common events in peoples lives such as loosing objects and eating their favorite food. Moreover, I added nostalgic items in the nostalgic shop to add to the feel of going through memories, such as the Nintendo 64.

The goal of Mind Map is to recreate what it feels like to navigate through life. Mind Map teaches the player that while life can be unpredictable, you can grow by taking advantage of what is given and building yourself.

Here the player rolls a dice to see how much the boss attacks him. He will loose "cope" points he collected through the game if he gets a high number.

Each stress event is unique and gives points to either DISHEARTEN, ANXIOUS or ISOLATED.

The stress event the player comes across the most while navigating their mind is who the final boss will be. This gives the game more replayability.

I made sure each boss has unique abilities and backstories.

A Short RPG: Roll for Rizz!

This short and funny RPG is a collaboration between four other students and I.

While this game is plenty goofy, we considered important parts of an RPG such as character creation, stat distribution and balancing. Players are allowed to make their own characters through a roll, then use their stats to their advantage throughout the game.

On the second page, we helped the Game Master set the scene and build the characters that will be in the situation.

The goal of this RPG was to serve as a quick ice breaker to our classmates!

Use your stats in seduction to fight your way to the top of the ladder!
